Genuine Gospel Ministry

Many are confused about the mission of the church. Many good deeds vie for time, energy and resources, but what is gospel ministry? This module will search the Scriptures to answer this question seeking to give students clarity and confidence to devote themselves to Genuine Gospel Ministry.

  • We will consider what it means for Jesus Christ to be Head of the church.
  • We will conduct a close study of the contours of the church’s mission as outlined in the New Testament (e.g. Ephesians 4).
  • We will observe gospel ministry in action, studying the patterns of Paul’s ministry in 1 Thessalonians.
  • In all these, we will engage in self-examination as we consider the qualifications for gospel ministry.
